1 Pill, 2 Pill, Red Pill, Blue Pill
A Matrix Parody Musical
Becky Goodman brings the ridiculous, over-the-top energy of Oh Mary! to The Matrix in this gloriously silly parody musical, complete with puppetry, clown, poor gymnastics and audience participation.
Before there was Thomas Anderson, a.k.a. “Neo”, there was Anderson Thomas, a.k.a. “Typo”. What happens when the main character discovers they’re not the main character? And what happens when a sentient AI designed to destroy humanity becomes infatuated with it and just wants to see the sky?
Stupid, chaotic and surprisingly touching, 1 Pill, 2 Pill, Red Pill, Blue Pill explores identity, humanity and the stories we tell ourselves. You don’t need to have seen The Matrix to enjoy this standalone tale of two unlikely heroes.

Development
1 Pill, 2 Pill, Red Pill, Blue Pill was developed by Becky Goodman through two successful London previews, including the PBH Free Fringe Weekender 2026 and selection for The LowMac’s Highlight Festival.
The show went on to a successful run at the 2026 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, playing to full houses for more than half of its performances.
“Take the red or blue pill and enjoy a show that has appeal for fans and non-believers alike, and prepare to witness yet another Fringe gem.” — one4review
